स्वामी विवेकानन्द (Swami Vivekananda)

As we celebrate National Youth Day in India to honor the great monk and philosopher Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary, it’s time to recall some of HIS great sayings and implement them in our life. Here’s the one which appeals to me:

While it’s normal to feel powerless at times especially when we feel that we can’t change the situation we are into, we definitely have power over our reactions, responses, and emotions. We have the power to be happy right away!

The whole secret of existence is to have no fear. Never fear what will become of you, depend on no one. Only the moment you reject all help are you freed.
-Swami Vivekananda

It really goes well with the current situation we are into. Amidst a pandemic, recovering from a million insecurities and anxieties, let’s keep our faith intact and leave no room for fear.
